Afri Fish is considered one the most important and reliable seafood exporter companies in Mauritania. Its unique client, Mercadona (Spanish leader supermarket with profits of more than 25.000 million of euros) trusts in Afri Fish as a fixed exporter of low tide fresh fish.
“Our goal is about working accordingly to the European Union recommendations”. This is the reason why the company ruled by Mohameden El Hafedh has been awarded with the ISO22.000 apart from been recognized in public by the Minister of Economy and Fishery in Mauritania. “The ISO 22.000 allows us to export all around the world. This also gave the company the opportunity of working with Mercadona, the biggest superkmaket in Spain”.
At the National Festivity of Mauritania, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Industry, on behalf of the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (RIM), awarded the General Director of Afri Fish, Mr. Mohameden El Hafedh. Regarding to this event and after the visit of the European Union to the company, they inspectors found that Afri Fish widely work under sanitary standards and the factory responds efficiently to sanitary requirements, in particular with the traceability of fishing products and the monitoring of canoes, at the time of proving sanitary quality and commercial fishery products.
With a professional team of almost 20 workers, the main contribution of Afri Fish to the country has been to gain the objective of placing Mauritania in the list of best fish exporters in the world. “We are committed to maintain the first position in sending quality and excellent products”.
The company also has worked for a renewed image and its presence on the Internet. “We are looking for new clients and new possibilities to continue selling the best fishes of our sea”.
