Launching event of eBiz Guide Georgia
On the 30th of September, eBiz Guides, on behalf of Mr. Pascal Belda, the CEO of World Investment News, hosted a cocktail launch evening of the new eBiz Guide, featuring Georgia, in the Tbilisi Event Hall, with over 200 guests present. The event was presided over by Mr. Jorge Machin, the Research & Development Director, and Ms. Karolina Marn, the aim of the launch being to gather decision-makers and business executives from the private and public sectors to discuss Georgia’s current business and investment climate and the importance of international marketing initiatives.
Prominent journalists and executives from some of the country’s leading newspaper publications were in attendance, with the event and its associated interviews with participants and eBiz staff alike making headlines across the spectrum.
It started with a speech by Mr. Irakli Matkava, Director of the Georgian National Investment Agency, then came a debate about the business climate in Georgia. The participants of the debate were Mr. Irakli and our speakers Mr. Fady Asly, Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Kakha Shaengelia, President of Caucasus University. This was followed by a short speech from hosts Jorge and Karolina about the history leading up to the production of the Guide and how it presents and showcases the wonderfully diverse and intriguing nation of Georgia.
