Syria and eBizguides promoting tourism.

The international fair of Madrid “Fitur” is one of the world's most important tourism fair. Syria showed once again how the country is opening to the world promoting tourism within a huge presence in Spain .

Passing by Pavilion number 10, it was impossible to miss Syria, as Palmyra in the dessert, the temple of the ministry shouted out between the Egyptians pyramids and the fake walls of the mythical Petra . Dancers, merchants presenting Syrian products, and travel agencies were the habitants of this small kingdom.

For all the participants the task was a given: present wonderful Syria to the world, using as tools their smile, and images of Damascus, its superb Umayyad Mosque and the old city, or the Jebbel Quassioum, but also Palmyra, Allepo, Apamea, Homs, Lattakia or the incredible Krak des Chevaliers, some of the best assets to promote the country. Cham group was also present, as the best partner to discover the country, and also promoting the golf of Damascus , perfect stop before leaving Syria .

The Syrian's Pavilion was honoured by the presence of H.E. the Minister of Tourism Dr. Eng. Saadalla Agha Al Kalaa, who commented us the outstanding 2007 tourism results, and explained us the campaign for 2008.

Syria will be present in Berlin and Paris soon, and will continue its efforts to attract more tourists and investments.
